.Seriously Easy to make.

As we are getting into the winter months and the fact that I have already had a cold which lasted a few days. I am trying to do everything I can to avoid getting another one.This lemonade is seriously easy to make and super cheap. So you will have a lot to share and a lot of pennys left.

You will need: 7 lemons, 150g sugar, 225mls water, sprigs of mint. A pan, wooden spoon, glasses, ice cubes, a jug. A juicer or a strong hand.

I got the 7 lemons from asda costing around 27p each.

Peel the zest of 5 lemons.

Put them in a large sauce pan.

Add the 150g of sugar

Add the 225mls of water.

And bring to the boil. Once boiling let simmer for 2 mins.

Whilst this is simmering. Squeeze the juice of the 5 lemons you have peeled. Put the juice into a jug. I got this jug from ikea for around 2.00 and its a heavy good one. I seen the same 1 at asda for around 4pounds though.

Once the sugar has disolved in your sauce pan. Leave to cool until the liquid is cold. Once cold. Seperate the lemon zest from the syrup you have just made. Add this to the jug of lemon juice and leave in the fridge for atleast 1/2 an hour.

Once its been in the fridge for 1/2 an hour... pour some into a class and dilute with tap water or carbonated water (the same way you would dilute squash) add ice cubes and sprigs of mint. Slice the other 2 lemons you sould have and use these for decoration purposes.

THERE YOU HAVE IT.

Your own LEMONADE.

keep this in mind over xmas =) would be great at parties/ summer faits etc.

And the kids will love this healthy drink. Get them involved with helping you aswell =)

It smells like incense wafting from an Eastern temple through the surrounding spice market.

This is 3.75p /100grams of product.

My Thoughts.

First of all I noticed the smell above all else. It smells like the strangest liquish you have ever smelt in your life. But after only 2 washes with the stuff I can say that I have got used to the smell straight away. Once in the shower with this stuff i wet it and started to lather it up which was fairly difficult to do. However I got a small amount on my hand and rubbed that into my hair and this went such a long way! I think as this was the 1st solid shampoo I had used, I was expecting it to be like liquid shampoo. What teh product gives off when u rub it is more than adequate and I realise this now. I left it on the shelf in teh shower as well and I am really pleased to say it did not slide around, it didnt disintergrate, nor did it stick its self to the shelf.After washing and drying my hair stayed soft, smelt nice, didnt dry my hair out nor make it greasy. I am looking forward to seeing my hair colour brought back to life a bit within the next few weeks. I will post on any results I see when I see them basically. I think for the use I know that I will be getting from this it is more than worth 3.75 =)

Haul LUSH, primark & River Island & Boots + Foundation Rip OFF !

Hey I decided to go to lush inroder to get my free face mask as I had x5 clean and empty pots.

I seen river island had a sale and all items in the sale had an additional 50% off !! Only for today and tomorrow though! - so had to go there.. I dont know if this is online aswell you could check.

I went to boots because I needed new foundation - trying a bourjois one this time. Never had a bourjois one before! + Foundation Rip off...

Anyway lets get on with it...

                          I have have here two new items I have not tried yet... which are too drunk (emotibomb) which was 2.25 & once a year massage bar which was around 4.00. I have here 'up you gets' emotibomb aswell. Which ive had twice before had a little bit of a cold a few weeks ago and used this and I could actually smell it and it was so nice... so thought i would get a back up for the winter.

So I decided to get cosmetic catastrophie as this has blueberrys in.. smells like a gorgeous yoghurt =) I have not had this one before so can not wait to try it =), I also got R&B to try and save my damaged dyed hair. And I have used the shower jellys before but decided to get calacas as this is a lush haloween special... I also got one for my bf he has the green one.

Thats it from lush... On to Primark !!

 Little Glow Cheek : Cheeky little name I think... =)

Lovely Blusher really impressed with the colours and the mirror is a magnifing mirror. 5 strips of different colour. 1st strip is like a goldy white, 2nd is a really light pink, 3rd is a dark brown, 4th is a really nice light brown, 5th is a dark pink. ( All look really pigmented) I got this for 1.00 ! in the sale, Not the 3 pound that it says on the sticker!!

If thats not enough of a bargain... It says it has ingredients which help care for your skin!

I have looked at the ingredients and im guessing they mean.

 Travel set. x3 bottles x3 pots and a small funnel.. I brought this so I can give family and friends samples of my luish products/ carry lush products around with me. Etc. The whole set cost 1pound! Normal Price !

 I have one of these purses already, but my mum seen it and liked it so its part of her xmas present now. And the bracelet with roses in it is just gorgeous !! Both of these were 2pounds each!! yay for primark !!

I also got 2 plunge bras from primark and a night shirt but I wont show you them =) the bras were 5pounds each anyway and the night shirt was in the sale at 3.00.

Next Riverisland....

This top was in the sale at 10 pounds but with the 50% off on top of the sale price (two day only special) It was 5pounds!! I dont think I could have got it from primark for that. Hopefully I will use it and it wont just be at the back of the wardrobe... =)
I also got a coat style jacket for 7.50 but it didnt photograph well so I didnt upload it.

Next Boots... New Foundation...

So I am trying this new bourjois foundation  which is called 'healthy mix' and has Abricot, melon - hydration, Apple - anti-oxydant and ginger to tone. This was on offer I think you get 2 pounds off ! Not exactly sure though it is 30mls... in shade 55 as I have a darker hair colour so need darker foundation. This has a pump mechanism which I think sends the product all the way up.

Anyway The rip off stage... Look how much foundation is left in the maybelline bottle that I can not get out for the life of me... I intend to smash the bottle which is glass and put the product I get out in one of the pots I got from primark. I asked the lady in boots if the 30mls it says u get takes into account for the bit that is left at the bottom and she says she dont think so No. WHAT A RIP OFF. Im never going to get one of these style bottels again: Whilst the pump system is flashy: ITS A RIP OFF !! - I will be contacting maybelline hopefully to find out about this. I love maybelline foundation but I cant put up with this... x

This is my updated collection (Not including the items I have in the bathroom or at my mums house..) Important Message: I brought every single item with my OWN money ! Appart from the small glogg which I swapped with another member of lush's facebook fan page ! I am not showing off the idea of this is for people to see a item/s I have and request a reveiw. Or comment asking me more infomation on it.. and letting people know what is avalible out there.. And another thing: I DO NOT WORK FOR LUSH ! I am just really passionate about their products!

1. Bath bombs and bubble bars: I have not used any of these. As I do not have a Bath where im living at the moment. I have however in the past tried candy can bubble bar and butter ball. So I can only comment on these two items.

I have been storing them in this box... altho only the vanilla fountain came on the vanilla scoop gift set. The bubble bars (pink and white) is the comforter... The blue bubble bar is blue skies and fluffy white clouds. The rest are a mixture of space girl (blue/lilac space ship), gweneths couldron, butter ball, sex bomb,, fizzbanger, geo phyzz (green one) and tisty tosty (white heart shaped).

3. snow globe slices, honey i washed the kids slices, sugar babe suger scrub, helping hands hand cream, lip dip lip exfoliator, charity pot (lotion) hottie massage bar, after 8 massage bar (retro), strawberrry fields forever massage bar, buffy in tin, karma soap, big american cream. Comment with any questions/reveiws you want doing.

Here we have: Dream cream, fair trade foot lotion, iced wine, snow globe sample, karma, snow cake, glitter bug massage bar, lip service lip balm, the olive branch, rose soap sample, lady katrina soap sample, vanillary perfume, sample of the breast firming cream, iced wine (xmas edition shower jelly).

Im A Lush  Addict !!

Other things I have recently brought have been...  these babies..  From river island in  the sale =) And also got the panda hat on the site and some gorgeous underwear from la senza but i wont show that off...  lol...

p.s. I am going to London THIS saturday Hopefully... does any1 have any shops they can suggest I go to... The last time I went to London I was in Year 6 and im s0on 21 it was that long ago lol...

Life update &Lush Mad...

Hey People...

I have not posted anything on here for over a month, I am so sorry... but the good news is atleast I have a lot to say =)

Firstly I would like to do a quick little brag if I may... lol... I am now officially in my 3rd year of uni and have a date  for my final bursery payment and final date for our portfolios!

Bad news however is we have a exam before xmas... Maths & Pharmacology...  Argh!

Anyway Let me Tell You About Some Stuff I have brought....

Snow Fairy !

Snow Fairy 500mls - Im so impressed with this (Never had this  before its my 1st Lush xmas too)

- You  can use this as body wash and SHAMPOO ! so amazing !

American Cream - Double strength Conditioner.

American Cream...  Just had my hair dyed so wanted a really good conditioner so got a small one and the Lurved it tht much got a 500ml. Double strength conditioner.

Lush Aqua Marina Cleanser, £5.00

This is exactly everything my skin needs to survive all my slap.. amazing and you only need a Tiny amount this will go along way...! I dont think it smells too good, but its tht good I am willing to put up with the smell =)

Woosh shower Jelly!

This is TOTALLY amazing, super smooth, smells great, lasts ages, value for money and wakes u up in the morning ready for lectures - who can say fairer than that !

Snow Globe Soap!

ZESTY smell i would say, absolutely amazing, so pretty. Not used it yet though =)

Today it was a weird one we went to a farm un planned but it was wiked in the end and even in the ridiculous amount of rain ... here are some really cute pics... plus I need to do a Lush HAUL .... =) PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS =) AND EVEN BETTER THAN THAT FOLLOW ME =) AND ITS A WEEK BEFORE ME AND MY BF MOVE BACK TO UNI =) WHOOOO! NO MORE PARENTS....

This LIL CHOCOLATE COLOURED FELLA decided that he had, had enough of waiting for a feed and eatwen his own sign so nobody could know his name or anything about him - maybe he wanted to keep his infomation confidential =)

I got to feed this lamb ( I no he looks bigger =/ ) His eye has also came out a weird blue on my phone's camra...

This lil kid was amazingly cute and had the smallest cutest milk teeth lol haha, and hes a funny colour ! bless him.. look at his tiny horns....

So Lush.... and some things I didnt put in the haul of stuff that i got friday the 20th (pay/bursery day)

I know im into lush and all but these are great - quick and easy - dont have to keep cool - small handy storable packaging - so so what? if im not bein as natural as I could be... anyways i piked these guys up from asda for 1.00 each... in clairs and in some newlook stores that have them i know they are 1.50

Tesco are doing 3 for 4.00 however the tesco i was in only had 2 varieties of the mask - so i thurt hmm... wats the point... please if any 1 knows where I can get them cheaper... leave me a comment I will be gratefull =)

grape fruit face wash:

So I had a samplefrom a magazine of the neutrogena face mask and it was lovely so i brought the product the gel and the scrub... superdrug 2 for 5.00 however in asda they have them on offer at 3.00 each if you just wnated one! - the scrub is not as harsh on the skin as I would have liked though I will say that.

 Burts bee's: The baby bee from burts bee's im using as a under eye cream at the moment and its great and wats even better is that I brought the whole jar from 5.00 from the market lady in packaging the lot... i understand this is 12.00 usually somebody said =/ let me know if thats wrong

The foundation was 5.00 first time i had tried this foundation however i just wanted something. anything than mac studio fix fluid makes me look like death on photos and generaly makes me have hidious spots, i CUD SLATE It untill the end of time so ill stop now =)

max factor eye shadows (I have the gold and silver) I got from the market again for 1.00 each !! and they are brilliant !!!

Lush : I got the Blonde shampoo (solid) 46.50 per 1kg : my chunk cost 5.67 apparently the shampoo puc's last around 80 washes so we will see how long that big chunk lasts me - im that sad i may even keep a tally in my bedroom cuz i wanna no stuff like that.

Sweetie pie shower jelly smells like all the black jelly tots crushed down. Gorgeous: Have not used it yet... think they have changed the pots for these now as you can see in the pic but somehow product was still getting out as it leaked on my pj's. Have not used this yet, I think this was around 3.00. And the tub has a take me back to lush sticker so that must be in with the 5 pots to take back and get a free face mask =) kool =)

I then got honey i washed the kids soap 29.50 for 1kg. my chunkl was 2.95 !

I got this after getting this in a set for my bfs MOTHER - ekkk

and i liked it so i brought my own chunk =) yay !!

Then after hating rehab shampoo I decided to try a small dadyo which is fantastic - looks like purple nail varnish the way the colours and everything mingle its actually mesmerising lol... used this once and I do see a different in the way my hair straightens... i used this shampoo with the conditioner i got ccoolaulin (WITH CREAMED COCO NUT AND LEMON JUICE) so think one of these is the brilliant culprit =) or both in conjunction with each other.. but this is amazing...

Primark and Benefit - first proper haul... If YoU Can Call it That....=) look =)

Hey everyone. This month I haven't been able to get loads of treats like I would have liked at im saving money for freshers week, but i thurt I would share with you some of the things that I did buy =) Hopefully you will think they are bargains... and please let me know what you think or of where you can buy similar products =) Thanks =)

Primark

These are the things I got from primark: scalf 3.00, patel salmon coloured bracelet 2.00, small purse/case in nude 2.00, long necklace 2.00 and the happy couple blush due was 50p !! ment to be 2.50 (that was the only item that was reduced with this little lot).

- I am wearing all of the things I got today, however I have not tried the happy couple yet... but the brush you get with is seems suprisingly uber soft =)

Make up market =)

each of the benefit things were in a little case littled 'the best of benefit' this set was 8.00 so 2.00 for each of the products =)

I got a clinique eyecream in nude sparkle. this was 5.00 from market with box

the foundation was 5.00 from market lady =)

I also got the baby bee moisturiser from the burts bee's range for 5.00 ment to be 12.00 in debenhams in understand =/ if any1 knows any different please let me know.

So Tomorrow...

So Tomorrow should be a wounderfull day =/ Hope I havent jinxed it now.

a) By boyfriend tim is coming to my house after he gets back from holiday =) yay I love you tim !!

b) Its pay day - yes I get my glorious nhs bursery =) whoop ! - even tho i have to pay my dads petrol costs to take me to placement and 2 phone bills! =(

 Its raining loads at the min today where i live, but I hope the market is on so I can get some lovely branded make up at cheap cheap cheap prices.. and fully size eyeshadows that are not in there proper cases for 1pound =) whoop whoop

If I dont manage to get any booty tomorrow from  the market I will take pics of what i got from the market on previous weeks! and will also defo buy any magazines with free gifts that i like and tell you about those 2 !

This Product I would definatly rate 5 stars to.

Good Points: Contains cocoa butter, shea butter, bees wax, extra virgin olive oil, apricot and tangerine oil =) basically all seem great ingredients to me =). This product smells gorgeous, I have had this product almost 5 weeks and it still smells the same =) It smells to me like marsh mellows, but other peoples perceptions of the smell will obviously be different =)

I do put this on underneath lip sticks, lip gloss and other more glossy lip balms and it takes fine =)

Bad Points: Could be a bit pricey for some people.Tin is small and therefore slightly fidly to open at times. I dont think you get a lot of product for your money however what you do get is good quality so I dont suppose you can be fairer than that!

Product Reveiw

Lush Rehab Shampoo Reveiw 100g

-Vegan Shampoo - Rehab for hair

Good Points * - Smelt okay,can recycle the bottle, you can buy the small or larger size (I had the small just to try it), you could get a great foamy lather with it. These were all nice things to have with a shampoo but not 1 this expensive =)

Bad points* - I felt this was a more expensive version of head and sholders and it made my coloured hair fade very fast.Consistancy was like oil, and found it very expensive for considering the things it actually did do for my hair. I felt that it made my hair too soft and this made straightening to worse in terms of damage than before. Main ingredients seemed to be fruit juices mango and kiwi juice, olive oil, almond oil, lavender oil so i felt that I could practically make this shampoo my self - so felt that there was nothing specail about it =/

I would like to try another lush shampoo (this is not the 1 for me im afraid).

If you have any recomendations then I would love to hear from you =)

Hey - Just me for now !

Hey, I thought I should just talk about my self for my 1st blog post.

This is my boyfriend tim and me - who I met in my 1st yr of uni =)

He does has got his degree in History now and is doing a masters, and I am doing my final yr this yr.

That means we get to stay together for another year =) yay!!

Next yr is going to be hard as we both finish uni and its job and house time. There is no way I can live with anybody other than tim or by my self. So Im gunna have to get on a money making/saving one in order to do this.

This is my puppy called Fudge who is bigger than this now (he is a boy - but looks like little girl in picture with that sweet face). My grandad got this dog for my sister but never got to see the puppy as he died before the puppy was ready to come away from his mum =(

Okay so I dont want to rant on and say everything so I have nothing to say, please leave any questions/ ideas/ general thoughts and ill get back to you - thanks.. please remember I am a NEWBIE... X
